Yesterday was productive and expensive. Blame it on me for missing MoMo Cafe. I love their Cafe Mocha, had to order it in the largest size (16 oz, P105).

What’s great about MoMo is that it offers a different take on coffee shops yet their prices are lower than most. Add to that the absence of overcrowding, AND a free chocnut that comes with their coffee ;D

And since everyone in my thesis group is gluttonous (there is no better term), coffee and fries weren’t enough to keep us satisfied. Next destination: Baker’s Passion.

We ordered Quattro Formaggi (or as Jess would have it, Quattro Flamingo) and Garlic & Shrimp Pizza (P210, P198 respectively). Both are 10 inches and thin-crust. Their pizzas are very flavorful; you’ll get your money’s worth. Try it with the green pepper sauce — my friends are crazy about it.

We separately ordered budget bread meals which saves you P20-P30, rather than buying by piece. Each meal comes with a piece of Miss Sandy (P10) — a mini sponge cake filled with either chocolate, custard, or cheese.

Two thumbs up for Momo and BP :)

In other food news, if you live around the Bacood neighborhood, you should try Chef’s Brown (spelling, correct!), if you haven’t already. I am most crazy about their pancit – very rich in flavor, yum yum. I was surprised upon discovery that Chef’s Brown is a little karinderia near the neighborhood church. It’s a high-end karinderia though — they have like, 8-10 employees (in unform!) and they deliver door-to-door! Plus, most of their meals are just priced P50.

And now for some shameless and free plugging:
